This year I will, at the end of every week just right before the weekend, present you a list of websites, blog entries and other things I came across and liked during the week. So, here is the first edition of LIKE.

1. For a few weeks now Liz has been composing sweet little weekly melodies that she put up on her blog and on youtube. This week’s melody is called ‘For a Start’ and it’s just lovely.

2. More music comes from Paper Bird from Vienna. This amazing lady has recorded a song called Sentimental Voodoo and put it on her myspace page. It’s for all the people whose heart has been broken, but also for those whose has not (yet).

3. I found this wonderful illustrator Allison Cole from Rhode Island. Check out her portfolio and blog.

4. Polar is one of my favourite photographers on Flickr. I admire her aibility to take great pictures of humans.

5. My friend Lisa finally has internet connection in her flat in Berlin. In her blog she posts pictures from her new life. She also launched her Portfolio.

6. Stereotypes are stupid, but they can be amusing. Flavorwire stereotypes people by their favourite indiebands.

7. Another amazing illustrator I found this week is Jon Klassen from L.A. Check out his portfolio (via cfmc).

8. Doro made this special calender for keeping track of the good and bad days of 2010. I added the ‘okay day’ category. You can download the calender on her website (go to: ‘selbermachen’ and then ‘spezialkalender 2010′).

9. I’ve got a new desktop wallpaper from Kitsune Noir’s Desktop Wallpaper Project. It says “Stop wasting your time”. Perfect.

10. Paperama’s inquiry if any of her followers could create a nice and cosy fireplace reminded me of this fireplace by Fredrik Hyltén-Cavallius. I found it a few weeks ago on Kitsune Noir. WANT!
